Our rigorous curriculum includes live lectures, workshops, and weekly projects covering the concepts and theories of operating systems, networks, and cloud engineering. Our industry-expert mentors provide real-world insight and advice to help you through the bootcamp and in your career.

  • Week 1-2
    CompTIA ITF+
    Designed for beginners without an IT background, the CompTIA ITF+ course offers training for a pre-career certification. This course helps students, including career changers, determine if they have the competency and interest in an IT career. ITF+ coursework covers foundational components of all areas of IT, allowing students to develop a broader understanding of the profession. In this course, students will learn how to use features and functions of common operating systems, establish network connectivity, identify common software applications, and more.

    CompTIA Network+
    CompTIA Network+ introduces you to essential networking knowledge that is required for cloud developer and cloud engineer roles.

  • Week 6-7
    CompTIA Cloud+
    CompTIA Cloud+ is an entry-level course covering the basic knowledge and skills needed to analyze, select, monitor, and protect cloud resources. The concepts taught in this course include identifying vulnerabilities, investigating network issues, and connecting and monitoring networks and the cloud environment.

    Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
    The program will include basic cloud computing principles, technologies, and models including private, public, hybrid cloud, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. This course also includes several of the main Azure solutions, services, Azure pillar privacy, security, trust services, and compliance.

    AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
    This week you will study a detailed overview of cloud concepts, AWS services, security, architecture, pricing, and support. This course also helps you prepare for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Exam.

    Introduction to Python
    In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of Python program structure, language syntax, and implementation details.

    Linux Essentials

    Bonus Course: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
    This is a comprehensive course that equips individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to design effective and efficient infrastructure solutions using the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. Students will learn how to analyze business requirements and translate them into secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures.

No, our flexible training hours allow you to balance academic and professional priorities. Pacing options are available based on your needs.

Immersive bootcamps are $7,900 and flex bootcamps are $5,100. We offer a pre pay discount, a variety of monthly installment options and a deferred monthly installment to cover bootcamp tuition costs. On-demand bootcamps cost $1,900 and are only able to be purchased prepaid.

*Deferred monthly installment eligibility depends on U.S. state of residence.

On average, flex and immersive bootcamps take about 24 weeks to complete.

Bootcamp scholarships are not offered for Northeastern Illinois University bootcamp programs at this time.

Recommended prerequisites vary based on the bootcamp, but most programs require only basic IT experience and foundational programming knowledge.

Our bootcamps prepare students for entry-level roles. Our career services team is available to provide guidance to online learners in obtaining those roles.

Flex bootcamps offer 2 hour mentoring sessions once per week, and immersive bootcamps offer 2 hour mentoring sessions twice per week. On-demand bootcamps offer students up to five, 30-minute optional mentoring sessions if students need to ask questions or receive support on their capstone project.

Yes, our career coaches will help you with resume building, mock interviews, and internship/job opportunities.

Students are required to have a computer operating system with Windows to access training labs. The current lab environment does not support the Apple M1 chip.
